How does adding tomatoes, tangerines and spinach to your walls liven up your kitchen?

Q: I need a new color idea for my kitchen. I have natural cabinets, natural color Pergo floors and black appliances. The countertops are neutral with a stainless steel sink. I want some color! All of the other rooms off the kitchen are still white. What are the hottest colors?

A: For up-to-date kitchen colors that won't go out of style soon, look no further than your local produce section. Whether it be tomato red, tangerine orange, or spinach green, choose a fun color to complement your favorite eats.  Bold colors look best in contrast against a neutral setting, which you already have.  So minimize your painting efforts by painting just a feature, such as an accent wall or wainscot, rather than the entire room.
